Opening from Instagram or using a phone?

Use a full browser before choosing a video. Downloads and large text selection can vary. Desktop Google Sheets is the verified native route; actual iPhone and phone Sheets playback remain untested.

Google Sheet frame data

  1. 1. Player availability

  2. 2. Copy these frame cells

Use Cmd/Ctrl+C or your browser’s Copy menu.

    Save frame data (.tsv)
  3. 3. Load, then play

In your copy, paste into Import → A7. Tick LOAD. Then open Player and tick PLAY. STOP ends a pass; PLAY restarts it.

This is frame data, not a standalone player. The static .xlsx contains frame tabs and does not animate. Public playable Sheets access is still pending.

Sharing unavailable

Public share links are not available yet.

Your video and generated cells stay in this tab. No share link has been created and nothing is uploaded.

You can preview your clip here and download static Excel frame tabs. A retained sharing service needs separate storage, privacy and lifecycle setup.

A Celluloid viewer link would be separate from a public Google Sheet. No Google Drive permissions are changed.

About Celluloid

A small studio for moving cells.

Open a video, choose up to five seconds, and preview its real colors as a spreadsheet. 3× and 4× increase image detail; they do not increase the native player’s frame rate.

Google Sheets frame-data export is available; a public playable template is not linked yet. Higher-resolution native playback is still awaiting QA.

Public sharing is not connected. No source-video upload, retained shared clip, social post or public Google Sheet is created here.

Original interface inspired by early desktop tools. No Microsoft or Google assets or affiliation.
